2016 Start.
A Japanese shoe brand, not swayable by time, that is functionally able to withstand real skateboarding. That’s “POSSESSED”.
The brand name “POSSESSED” reflects being possessed by skateboards.
The icon “SKATE RAT” is a term used from the 80’s by the skating community for crazed skaters.
The brand logo and icon design were created by internationally active Mr. Toshikazu Nozaka, a tattoo artist/skater.
2016年始動。本格的なスケートボードライディングにも耐えられる機能を備えた、時代に左右される事のないJAPANESEシューズブランド、それがPOSSESSEDです。ブランドネームのPOSSESSEDとは”スケートボードに取り憑かれた”というメッセージが込められています。アイコンの”SKATE RAT”は80年代よりスケートコミュニティーで使われてきた”スケート狂”を意味する言葉。ブランドロゴとアイコンデザインはインターナショナルに活躍する、彫り師/アーティスト/スケーターの野坂稔和(TOSHIKAZU NOZAKA)。
